The HOPE Project goes to where homeless people congregate, such as free food programs, homeless encampments and shelters. The program offers a range of medical and social services under one roof.
Services include acute and preventative medical services, drug/alcohol counseling, detoxification referrals, psychological/psychiatric assessment and counseling, case management, and referrals/assistance with housing and employment. All services are provided free of charge.
The HOPE Project is a collaboration between two local agencies. Tri-City Homeless Coalition provides case management, drug and alcohol recovery services, mental health services, and coordinates services. Tri-City Health Center provides medical services and testing through a licensed nurse practitioner/ Physician's Assistant.
